Men in general are known to be less eager or inclined to take on a yoga course. But fortunately, this pattern is changing and every day more men decide to explore the wonderful world of yoga. The reason behind that lack of interest might be the assumption that for practicing yoga, you have to be way too flexible; or that it is not challenging/heavy enough; or that it requires a certain level of spirituality that they are not comfortable with, and so on.
But the fact is that yoga is in principle for EVERYONE, regardless of body type, weight, level of flexibility, or personal beliefs. Yoga is a perspective, a world view which offers the same gift to everyone: living in the present moment, respecting the body and mind, finding the inner peace and self-love that we all deserve, and all in all, general wellness and wellbeing for anyone who practices it.
“Wellness encompasses a healthy body, a sound mind and a tranquil spirit. Enjoy the journey as you strive for wellness.”
